Our Story

The Heart and Soul Behind Allure & Elegance Boutique

From a young age, our owner and CEO, Kristi Freeman, found joy in playing with her Barbies. With her brothers being much older, Kristi spent countless hours dressing up her dolls and styling their hair, nurturing a love for fashion early on. As she grew older, Kristi's focus shifted to school and work, leading her to a career in retail. Her passion and dedication quickly propelled her through various roles in retail management, where she excelled.

Kristi's journey took a pivotal turn when she met and married Jeff, a man who shared her deep love for fashion. Together, they dreamed of opening a boutique in their charming hometown of Harrison, OH. Kristi, also a life coach, envisioned offering coaching services to the community through special after-hours events. However, their dreams were shattered when, four years into their marriage, Jeff tragically passed away from a heart attack at the age of 48.

The loss of Jeff, coupled with the earlier passing of her mother, brother, and father within four years, plunged Kristi into a deep depression. She felt lost, unloved, and disconnected, leading her to lose her home and nearly herself in the process.

One day, Kristi decided she had cried enough. Determined to reclaim her life, she sought therapy, returned to work, and began to rebuild. She resumed her coaching, yet something was still missing.

It was during an intense therapy session that Kristi reconnected with her inner child and rediscovered what truly made her happy: her dream of owning a boutique. Thus, Allure & Elegance Boutique was born, a manifestation of Kristi's resilience, passion, and unwavering dedication to her dream.
